The Fairfax & Winooski School Districts have immediate vacancies for Food Service Staff including Cooks, Bakers, Cashiers, and Subs. Position hours and days vary. Work schedule follows the school calendar plus additional training and/or meeting times as requested or required.

Job requires healthy food preparation, inventory management, record keeping, cleaning, computer data entry, and Farm to School outreach.

Candidates must be able to work in a high-pressure environment, have prior kitchen experience, be able to maintain Federal and State laws and regulations regarding health and safety (including food handling and safety laws) work as part of a team, and be proficient in computer applications. The ideal candidate would have interest in Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Programs, Farm to School Programs and a passion to provide healthy meals to students in grades preschool through 12th grade. Salary based on Experience

School Locations include but are not limited to: Fairfax, VT ~ Winooski, VT ~ St.Albans, VT
