Ensure customer requirements are met through quality control and quality assurance activities. Drive continual cost reduction and improved customer satisfaction through sound process and quality engineering techniques. Responsible for leading continual process improvement teams in manufacturing and administrative areas. Responsible for leading corrective and preventive action processes; corrective actions, internal auditing, failure analysis, statistical process control, quality improvement plans, etc.
- Ensure quality system compliance with ISO9001:2008 and other standards as appropriate.
- Attend meetings at customer sites to resolve quality related issues.
- Perform Supplier Qualification Audits.
- Work with suppliers to develop improvement plans.
- Coordinate company internal activities for the resolution of customer complaints and concerns.
- Drive corrective and preventative actions toward the resolution of customer complaints and concerns.
- Ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for internal and external quality concerns and requests.
- Ensure internal audits are conducted in a thorough and timely fashion in accordance with ISO9001:2008.
- Conduct annual management review in compliance with ISO9001:2008.
- Develop product and process improvement plans in manufacturing and administrative areas.
- Aid in implementation of process changes as applied to quality systems.
- Lead the material review board.
- Disposition returned material.
- Lead continual process improvement teams – drive improvement action to completion.
- Implement control plans, FMEA, SPC and other improvement activities.
- Adhere to and promote all regulations and guidelines contained in the Global Management System.
RequirementsEducation:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum four years’ experience as quality function or process engineering role in problem solving and corrective action environment
- Certified Quality Engineering (CQE) and Certified quality auditor (CQA) preferred.
- Expertise in ISO9001:2008, AS9100 and ISO14001.
- Experience with ERP.
- Working knowledge of lean and Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in statistical techniques, process control, data collection and analysis.
- Technical knowledge, including RF and FO, and electrical engineering basics preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to communicate well with customers, suppliers and internal groups required.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to perform problem analysis and problem resolution.
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a remote team.
- Motivated, positive attitude, team player.
