Job Requirements

As a Financial Advisor for Modern Woodmen of America, you must be highly competitive and professional. You must also be an excellent listener with superb verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. At Modern Woodmen of America, we are seeking someone who values honesty, integrity and tenacity as much as we do.

 

Additional requirements of the Financial Advisor include:

  • College graduate or some college preferred
  • Have at least three years of continuous U.S. residency

Job Description

There is an immediate need for a part time accounting oriented person (premium auditor) in Vermont who is capable of learning to review payroll records, employment tax reports, general ledgers and check registers. The applicant must be self motivated, capable of working independently and have an outgoing and pleasant personality. The applicant must also be capable of learning to interpret workers compensation and general liability insurance rules and classifications. The position requires daily travel as these audits are performed at various business locations and/or accountants offices. Reliable transportation is required. The applicant must be computer literate and capable of learning industry specific software programs.

A two year degree in accounting or other math related subjects is preferred, however, experience in bookkeeping, payroll preparation or other related work areas are weighted heavily as well.
