We currently have a great position for an EH&S Advisor. The successful candidate will provide support on moderately complex or difficult EHS issues/concerns in two or more disciplines of EHS (environment, occupational health, and/or safety) to managers and staff; including compliance with EHS legislation and the implementation of the EHS Management System. This position requires extensive knowledge in two or more aspects of EHS in order to support complex issues/concerns.(_2(_2

Job Requirements

B.S. in a related field
CSP or CHMM certification preferred

Experience Required:
(a25+ years experience in related EHS position with progressive responsibilities.
(a2EHS position within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
(a2Experience developing and submitting regulatory environmental permits and reports
(a2Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
(a2Broad understanding of local, state and federal environmental and OSHA regulations

Skills required:
(a2Extensive understanding of risk management tools and root cause corrective action methods
(a2Ability to manage multiple complex projects
(a2Strong written and verbal communication skills
(a2Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
(a2Capable of working with a wide range of people from site leader to shop floor
(a2Influencing and negotiating skills.
