We are currently looking for an Assistant Brand Development Manager to support its growing business in new markets. This individual will be primarily responsible for executing innovation projects to support new launches and managing packaging updates to the existing product portfolio range.  The role will require close interaction with R&D, design, supply chain, procurement, SMT, legal, and new market regional teams, to deliver products on time and in full.

 

We are looking for a strong candidate who:

 

  • Is comfortable supporting complex projects and can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver innovation and renovation projects to agreed timelines
  • Is passionate about the consumer and can translate this to develop insightful innovation and communication
  • Is quick thinking and able to react with keen business sense to challenging situations complicated by ambiguity
  • Possesses exceptional attention to detail and is committed to delivering quality output

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Plays a key supporting role to the BD manager in developing and delivering innovation product launches and new market launches OTIF thru the INOPLAN funnel

Responsible for execution and deployment of key innovation projects from concept thru to completion; from flavor development with R&D to the design/creative process, to timeline management with SC, to first production and final delivery to customer in Asia/ New Markets

Post launch, support customer service issues and ensure appropriate followup for inquiries

Support the leading of an internal team meetings and liaise with cross functional teams (R&D/ QA/SC/Legal/Regulatory) both in VT and regionally in Asia to manage project timelines


 Works closely supporting BD manager in developing product portfolio strategy that will define 
 long term innovation pipeline for new markets

 

 Coordinate the dept. budget via ARIBA and coordinate invoice payment to vendors

 

 Coordinate all trade samples and free goods orders to AAMET to ensure delivery in market

 

 Manage Halal certification for AAMET products- liase with IFANCA team to keep certification updated
 and current

 

 Exhibit commitment to the brand’s social mission and Marketing’s vital role in delivering all three
 elements of Ben & Jerry’s three-part mission statement.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing or the equivalent
  • Experience in Marketing-previous experience with new product development or new launches preferred

 

  • Experience managing projects cross functionally in a complex organization
  • A real passion for brand, innovation and problem solving
  • A strong bias for action – and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience or exposure working in a cross cultural or international environment preferred
  • Ability to build networks remotely
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Computer proficiency – Excel/ Word/Powerpoint
  • A thorough understanding of company mission, goals and objectives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment, some repetitive motion required.
