JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Director of Implementation
Interrelationships: Develop relationships with customers, interact regularly with Project Managers
and Engineering, Client Support and Educational Services teams
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in and/or leads the implementation team assigned to customer New Name, Upgrade, add-on service, quote and consulting customer projects
- Participating in the above project types includes: a) discussing and interpreting customer utility business practices and designing software solutions to accommodate customer requirements, b) documenting customer requirements and completing software specification documents, c) configuring software to match customer requirements, d) testing software based on standard or customer requirements, e) training customer on standard or customer specific software workflows, f) assisting internal conversion resources with data mapping, g) assisting customer end users with running their daily workflows during customer testing, training and simulation activities and h) general customer support for customer end users from software go-live and beyond
- Develops a close working relationship with Project Managers and each customer’s primary contact person at each customer site to ensure project timelines and deliverables are on track
- Develops good working relationship with staff in Engineering in order to trouble-shoot technical and functional issues that may arise during an implementation, contributes to conversion and data mapping activities
- Develops good working relationship with staff in Educational Services in order to assist in developing training materials, conduct or assist with customer training, provide knowledge transfer to training staff and give feedback on all training services
- Develops good working relationship with staff in Client Services to assist with customer support issues and provide knowledge transfer from implementation projects
- Provides feedback to the Project Managers, Management and other Professional Services Group Implementers to help improve the products or aid in the overall implementation process
- Monitors and follow-up on open customer support issues
- Maximizes and maintains current knowledge and awareness of Harris software applications and related technologies
- Participates in and/or leads software enhancement design sessions
- Configures, tests and implements enhancements as necessary.
- Up to 75% on site travel required
LOCATION
Individual will work out of the Williston, VT office preferably. Working remote is also an option to be discussed on an individual basis.

Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline OR equivalent work experience
- Strong customer service and oral/written communication skills
- Positive, proactive and take-charge attitude
- Willing to gain knowledge and build skills with on the job training and apprenticeship internal training methods
- Software and/or Utility industry experience preferred
- Ability to configure and test software
- Ability to interpret requirements, recommend solutions and lead/participate in business analysis sessions with customers
- Ability to train end users on software, comfortable training in both one-on-one and classroom settings
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical thinking to resolve issues
- Good project and time management skills
- Familiarity with standard UNIX, FTP and SQL commands/statements preferred
- Familiarity with at least one ad-hoc report writing tool
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure
- Ability to work nights/weekends
