Job Description
UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the worlds largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. We design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms. We are also a major supplier to international space programs.In 2012, UTC Aerospace Systems was formed by combining two industry leaders, Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich, creating an organization with key positions on a wide range of aircraft flying today and substantial content on various UAVs, satellites and ground and naval vehicles.
- Supplier quality engineering, primarily for circuit card assembly and electronics commodities
- Utilize Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA/8D) methodologies to resolve escapes and obtain corrective action for non-conformances from suppliers
- Support Quality Clinic activity and supplier-caused QN review and disposition
- Support Supplier Corrective Action Board (CAB) activity
- Provide support for customer audit and customer corrective action activity related to UTAS suppliers
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field required.- Previous circuit card assembly experience (J-STD, IPC, Mil-Std-2000, etc.) required
- Previous experience with electronic components a plus
- ASQ or equivalent certification (CQE, CQA, etc.) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of supplier quality and/or quality engineering experience
- Expertise with tools such as Microsoft Office or similar spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications, and Minitab or similar statistical analysis applications
